Since many of the houses we purchase are distressed, we need some time to fix them up in order to maximize our marketability of the property.
We may need to change the floor plan, update the kitchen, fix the foundations, replace the windows, etc. These take time in order to be repaired the right way. We don’t skimp or take short cuts. This ensures the value of each investment.
We have to hold these houses longer while repairs are being completed. Our investors are prepared to keep their investment active for at least six months. Some properties may last as long as eighteen months or more.
